Adding a Job Vacancy

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log in to Your WordPress Admin Dashboard:
   • Open your web browser and navigate to your WordPress login page (usually yourdomain.com/wp-admin).
   • Enter your username and password, then click “Log In.”
2. Navigate to the Job Vacancies Section:
   • In the left-hand sidebar of the WordPress dashboard, hover over “Job vacancies.”
   • Click on “Add a New Post” from the dropdown menu.
3. Create a New Job Vacancy Post:
   • You will be taken to the post editor screen.
   • Enter the job title in the “Add title” field. For example, “Bar Staff.”
4. Fill in Job Details:
   • Under the “Job vacancies” meta box, fill in the required job details:
     • Job Type: Select whether the job is full-time or part-time.
     • Job Location: Enter the location where the applicant will be required to work.
     • Job Salary: Specify the salary for the position.
     • Job Description: Provide an overview of the role, including key responsibilities, qualifications, and benefits.
5. Add a Job Description:
   • In the main content editor, enter a detailed job description. This can include responsibilities, qualifications, benefits, and any other relevant information.
   • Use the formatting toolbar to style the text, insert headings, create lists, and add links if necessary.
6. Set a Featured Image (Optional):
   • On the right-hand side, you can set a featured image for the job vacancy post. Click on “Set featured image,” then upload an image or select one from your media library.
7. Preview and Publish:
   • Before publishing, you can preview your job vacancy post by clicking the “Preview Changes” button.
   • Once you are satisfied with the content, click the “Publish” button to make the job vacancy live on your website.
