FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) can be a helpful addition to your website, providing quick answers to common questions your visitors might have. Here’s how to add a new FAQ to your website.
Steps to Add a New FAQ
- Log in to the WordPress Dashboard:
- Enter your username and password to access your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to the FAQs Section:
- On the left-hand menu, click on
FAQs
. - From the dropdown, select
Add a New Post
.
- On the left-hand menu, click on
- Add FAQ Title:
- In the
Add title
field, enter the question that will serve as the FAQ title.
- In the
- Enter FAQ Answer:
- In the text editor, under the
FAQ answer
section, type in the answer to the question. - You can format the text, add links, images, or any other media to provide a comprehensive answer.
- In the text editor, under the
- Assign Topics (Optional):
- On the right-hand side, under
Topics
, you can categorize your FAQ by checking the relevant topics. - To add a new topic, click on
+ Add New Topic
, type in the new topic name, and clickAdd New Topic
.
- On the right-hand side, under
- Add Featured Image (Optional):
- If you want to add a visual element to your FAQ, you can set a featured image.
- Click on
Set featured image
under theFeatured image
section, choose an image from your media library, or upload a new one.
- Save Draft or Publish:
- If you’re not ready to publish the FAQ yet, click
Save Draft
. - To make the FAQ live on your website, click
Publish
.
