Adding testimonials to your WordPress site is an effective way to showcase customer satisfaction and build trust with potential clients. This guide will walk you through the steps to create and publish new testimonials and add them to a page using a testimonials flexible block.
Step-by-Step Instructions

- In the left-hand sidebar of the WordPress dashboard, hover over “Testimonials.”
- Click on “Add a New Post” from the dropdown menu.

- You will be taken to the post editor screen.
- Enter the name of the person giving the testimonial in the “Add title” field. For example, “Matt Wise.”

- Under the “Testimonials” meta box, fill in the required details:
- Testimonial Quote: Enter the text of the testimonial.
- Testimonial Image: Click “Add Image” to upload an optional image that accompanies the testimonial. This could be a profile picture or a business logo.

- In the left-hand sidebar of the WordPress dashboard, click on “Pages” and then select the page where you want to add the testimonials.

- Click the “+” button to add a new block and select “Testimonials.”
- Configure the Testimonials Block:
- In the “Content” tab, fill in the block details:
- Heading: Enter an optional heading for the testimonials section, such as “What People Say.”
- Button: Add a call-to-action button with a link to a dedicated testimonials page. Click “Select Link” and enter the URL.
- Image: Click “Add Image” to upload a background image for the testimonials block.
- Testimonials: Select and reorder any number of testimonials that have been added to the ‘Testimonials’ section. The testimonials will be displayed in a carousel.
