If you need to update or revise an existing FAQ on your website, you can easily do so through the WordPress dashboard. Here’s how to edit an existing FAQ:
Steps to Edit an Existing FAQ
- Log in to the WordPress Dashboard:
- Enter your username and password to access your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to the FAQs Section:
- On the left-hand menu, click on
FAQs
. - From the dropdown, select
All FAQs
.
- On the left-hand menu, click on
- Find the FAQ You Want to Edit:
- You will see a list of all the FAQs on your site.
- Use the search bar at the top right to quickly find the specific FAQ you want to edit.
- Alternatively, scroll through the list to locate the FAQ.
- Edit the FAQ:
- Hover over the FAQ you want to edit, and click on
Edit
which appears under the FAQ title.

- Update the FAQ Title:
- In the
Add title
field, you can change the question that serves as the FAQ title.

- In the text editor, under the
FAQ answer
section, make the necessary changes to the answer. - You can format the text, add links, images, or any other media to improve the answer.

- Update Topics (Optional):
- On the right-hand side, under
Topics
, you can update the categories assigned to the FAQ. - Check or uncheck the relevant topics as needed.
- To add a new topic, click on
+ Add New Topic
, type in the new topic name, and clickAdd New Topic
.
- On the right-hand side, under
- Update Featured Image (Optional):
- If you want to change the visual element of your FAQ, you can update the featured image.
- Click on
Remove featured image
to remove the current one, then click onSet featured image
to select a new image from your media library, or upload a new one.
- Save Changes:
- Once you’ve made all the necessary updates, click
Update
to save the changes.
