Editing an Existing FAQ

If you need to update or revise an existing FAQ on your website, you can easily do so through the WordPress dashboard. Here’s how to edit an existing FAQ:

Steps to Edit an Existing FAQ

  1. Log in to the WordPress Dashboard:
    • Enter your username and password to access your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the FAQs Section:
    • On the left-hand menu, click on FAQs.
    • From the dropdown, select All FAQs.
  3. Find the FAQ You Want to Edit:
    • You will see a list of all the FAQs on your site.
    • Use the search bar at the top right to quickly find the specific FAQ you want to edit.
    • Alternatively, scroll through the list to locate the FAQ.
  4. Edit the FAQ:
    • Hover over the FAQ you want to edit, and click on Edit which appears under the FAQ title.
  5. Update the FAQ Title:
    • In the Add title field, you can change the question that serves as the FAQ title.
  6. Update the FAQ Answer:
    • In the text editor, under the FAQ answer section, make the necessary changes to the answer.
    • You can format the text, add links, images, or any other media to improve the answer.
  7. Update Topics (Optional):
    • On the right-hand side, under Topics, you can update the categories assigned to the FAQ.
    • Check or uncheck the relevant topics as needed.
    • To add a new topic, click on + Add New Topic, type in the new topic name, and click Add New Topic.
  8. Update Featured Image (Optional):
    • If you want to change the visual element of your FAQ, you can update the featured image.
    • Click on Remove featured image to remove the current one, then click on Set featured image to select a new image from your media library, or upload a new one.
  9. Save Changes:
    • Once you’ve made all the necessary updates, click Update to save the changes.

By following these steps, you can efficiently edit existing FAQs on your website, ensuring that your content remains relevant and useful for your visitors.
