How to change a users role

1. Log in to Your WordPress admin dashboard

3. Select the user role

In the “Role” dropdown menu, select the appropriate new role for the user. The roles include:

  • Subscriber: Can only manage their profile.
  • Contributor: Can write and manage their posts but not publish them.
  • Author: Can publish and manage their own posts.
  • Editor: Can publish and manage posts, including those of other users.
  • Administrator: Has access to all administrative features.
